If you\u2019re looking to escape the clubs and packed car parks, the north of the island is your refuge. Here, the roads get narrower, the pine forests thicker, and life slows down. At Can Camper<\/strong>, we believe you haven\u2019t experienced the real Ibiza until you\u2019ve woken up to the sound of the sea in the north. <\/p>\n\n

These are our three must-stops for your northern route:<\/p>\n\n

1. Cala Xarraca (Snorkelling paradise)<\/h2>\n\n

This bay is famous for its incredibly clear waters and rocky trails. It\u2019s the perfect place to park the van and spend the day exploring the seabed. <\/p>\n\n

Can Camper tip:<\/strong> There\u2019s a small rope swing over the water that makes the perfect trip photo.<\/p>\n\n

2. Portinatx and Cala d'en Serra<\/h2>\n\n

Portinatx has all the amenities, but if you\u2019re after something wild, head to Cala d'en Serra<\/strong>. It\u2019s a small horseshoe-shaped cove surrounded by cliffs. The path is a bit steep, but the views when you arrive make every bend worth it. <\/p>\n\n

3. Moscarter Lighthouse<\/h2>\n\n

It\u2019s not a beach, but it\u2019s a must-stop. You can park in Portinatx and walk along the cliff path to the tallest lighthouse in the Balearics (easy to spot thanks to its black-and-white stripes). The views of the Mediterranean from up here are simply endless. <\/p>\n\n

4. Aguas Blancas (Aig\u00fces Blanques)<\/h2>\n\n

It\u2019s one of the locals\u2019 favourite beaches. It\u2019s a long beach at the foot of impressive cliffs, with a very free-spirited vibe (it\u2019s a nudist beach, though everyone mixes together). <\/p>\n\n

  • Best part:<\/strong> The natural mud. You can wet the earth on the cliff wall and apply it to your skin like a mask. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Camper heads-up:<\/strong> The car park is paid in summer and the descent is steep, but waking up near here to watch the sunrise (it rises over the sea in this area) is an out-of-this-world experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

    5. Cala de Sant Vicent (The stunning viewpoint)<\/h2>\n\n

    It\u2019s one of the most spectacular coves in the north, with an almost electric blue colour. The best thing about going by camper is that the access road has viewpoints where you can safely pull over, have a coffee, and enjoy jaw-dropping views. <\/p>\n\n

    • Best part:<\/strong> It\u2019s a very wide, comfortable beach\u2014ideal if you\u2019re travelling in a High Roof<\/strong>, as access is much easier than to other remote coves.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Can Camper tip:<\/strong> Before heading down to the beach, stop at the viewpoint on the San Juan road. The photos from up there with the van and the bay in the background are some of the best on the island. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n
