GENERAL RENTAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS - CAN CAMPER IBIZA

1. DRIVER REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum Age: The driver must be at least 20 years old.
  • Experience: A valid driving license (B) with a minimum of 2 years of experience is mandatory.
  • Documentation: Presentation of original and valid ID/Passport and driving license is required before handover.

2. BOOKING, PAYMENTS, AND CANCELLATIONS

  • Confirmation: To block the dates, a 50% deposit of the total amount is required.
  • Final Payment: The remaining 50% must be paid before the physical handover of the vehicle.
  • Cancellations: * 50% refund if canceled more than 30 days in advance (management fees are non-refundable).
    • No right to refund if canceled 30 days or less in advance.
    • Full refund if canceled within the first 24 hours after booking.

3. INSURANCE AND DEPOSIT

  • Coverage: Comprehensive Insurance with an excess of €900.
  • Deposit: A deposit of €900 must be paid by card or bank transfer.
  • Refund: The deposit will be refunded within a maximum of 7 days after verifying that the vehicle has no damages or breaches.

4. GEOGRAPHICAL RESTRICTIONS (VERY IMPORTANT)

  • Scope: It is strictly forbidden to take the vehicle outside the island of Ibiza.
  • Ferries: Transporting the vehicle by ferry, boat, or any other means to other islands or the mainland is not permitted.
  • Penalty: Failure to comply with this clause entitles the lessor to terminate the contract and retain the full deposit.

5. RULES OF USE AND PENALTIES

To ensure the hygiene and condition of our Roamer Adventure Club campers, the following automatic fines apply:

  • Smoking/Vaping: Smoking inside is prohibited (€200 fine).
  • Pets: Animals are not allowed (€200 fine).
  • Beach Sand: Entering with sand or wet clothes on beds or seats is prohibited (€80 - €120 depending on severity).
  • Drugs/Illegal Activities: €300 fine and immediate notification to authorities.
  • Lost Keys: €150 penalty plus replacement and management costs.

6. HANDOVER AND RETURN (VEHICLE CONDITION)

  • Fuel: The vehicle is handed over with a full tank (or agreed level) and must be returned the same way.
  • Deposits: The vehicle must be returned with the grey water tank emptied. Failure to do so incurs a penalty of €200.
  • Cleaning: The vehicle must be returned in optimal condition. Poor cleaning incurs a charge of €100.
  • Delays: Late return is penalized from €100 (up to 1 hour) up to the full day's amount plus €500 if it exceeds 24 hours.

7. OVERNIGHT STAYS AND LAW 5/2024

  • The client declares knowledge of the Balearic Islands regulations and agrees to stay overnight only in designated areas or campsites.
  • The lessor is not responsible for fines due to illegal camping.
