If you're touring the white island, sooner or later you'll need a place with all the services to get your van ready. Although the freedom of vanlife in Ibiza is incredible, campsites are the perfect option to recharge batteries, fill up water tanks, and enjoy a shower without limits.
Here are our three favorites:
1. Camping Cala Nova (The most authentic atmosphere)
Located just a few meters from one of the most beautiful beaches on the island, Camping Cala Nova is famous for its relaxed and family-friendly atmosphere. It's ideal if you're looking for plenty of shade, as it's surrounded by pine trees.
- The best part: Its location. You can walk to Cala Nova and enjoy its crystal-clear waters in less than 5 minutes.
- Services: Electrical hookups for the camper, Wi-Fi, and a very cozy social area.
2. Camping Cala Bassa (Nature in its purest state)
In the west of the island, we find Camping Cala Bassa. It's a more rustic and quiet site, perfect for disconnecting from the hustle and bustle. It's very close to the famous Cala Bassa, known for its white sand and turquoise tones.
- The best part: The peace and quiet. It's a simple but very authentic campsite, where respect for the environment is the priority.
- Can Camper Tip: It's the perfect starting point to explore the western coves like Cala Tarida or Cala Comte.
3. Camping La Playa (Views and proximity to Es Canar)
Located near the Punta Arabí area, Camping La Playa offers a very complete experience. Its name is no coincidence: you'll be just a step away from the sea. Plus, it's very close to the famous Es Canar hippy market.
- The best part: The combination of relaxation and leisure. You have the sea right next to you and plenty of restaurants and markets just a few minutes away.
- Services: Spacious pitches for large vans and a terrace with views that will leave you speechless at sunrise.
